Happy 4th!!!

Today we went to Fredys and picked up a ton of food to take downtown tomorrow. We made about 80 sandwiches and put them in bags with chips, fruit, and water. Talk about hardwork (I don’t think I could ever work at Subway). Anyways, going through the family checkout line at Fredys we met Jordan. He’s a young guy, around 18, who asked us what we we’re doing with so much food. Well, we told him about going downtown and about the journey we were on and he got really excited. He told us if wasn’t at the till, he would give us $10 out of his wallet, but couldn’t with the cameras around becuase it would look fishy. Amazing enough, later that day Jordan saw us outisde of the store (We had to go back for more chips, thats what happens when you send the guys shopping) and he handed us $10 and told us he would be praying for us. God continually amazes us with the random people he brings into our lives for us to encourage and for Him to bless us with. It’s becoming more evident everyday that, through living a lifestyle open to Christ, he will work through us even by just doing everday things, like going to the grocery store.  I’m hoping that Jordan will be able to go downtown with us tomorrow. We’ll let you know how it goes.

  1. I’m anxious to hear what tomorrow brings! We’ll never know all the results of that little seed that was planted today with Jordan.

  2. Hey there-

Just wanted to say it was great to meet you all while we were staying with Eric and LeeElla in Spokane. We will be praying for you, and look forward to hearing how God will use you on the road.
